Our Director Leon commenced in the banking and finance industry as a young 18-year-old in 1994. With a long, decorated career in finance, Leon has become a highly respected industry specialist.
Establishing Financia, Leon assembled and has built an award-winning team of successful Mortgage and Finance Brokers along with a solid administration and customer focused team. After being accoladed South Australia’s Number One Broker over several years, Leon now spends his time managing Financia’s operations and helping the team negotiate and secure loans for our clients. Drawing on his highly credible knowledge and experience, Leon continues to lead Financia with an energetic drive and focus on superior client outcomes. With a career in finance spanning over 30 years, Leon has developed many strong relationships and networks which he leverages to achieve success.
In his spare time, Leon likes to relive his youth, spending time at Adelaide’s premier soccer club Campbelltown City as a player, sponsor, former Board Member and Collegiate Director. He is a family man with strong morals and ethics who also loves listening to music and spending quality time with his family.
Ben is a natural born leader and communicator with a strong passion for the finance industry. Beginning his career in finance over 11 years ago, Ben previously worked with one of the majors before venturing to the ‘good side’ and becoming a Broker.
Over the years, Ben has successfully developed a network of solid relationships. He has acquired a wealth of knowledge and credibility through his experience and thrives on taking on every challenge that comes his way. Ben’s dedication to his clients is evident through the success he achieves for them, evidenced by the continual testimonials we receive. Having been honoured with multiple achievements in the industry, Ben continues to invest his time and dedication in helping clients achieve their goals. He specialises in all areas of finance including residential, investment, commercial, business, asset finance and personal loans. Building on his Rising Star of the year award several years ago, Ben constantly features in the top tier of Brokers in SA.
Outside of work, Ben’s interests include spending time with family and friends or taking time to look at the current property market.
Working as Director Leon Spadavecchia’s Executive Assistant, Tiana keeps everything running smoothly with her approachable, calm attitude. Tiana brings a positive feel and drive to Financia and is committed to effective team and client outcomes. With a strong administration background, Tiana has developed a wealth of knowledge over the years with a high level of attention to detail when it comes to communication and management. Always striving to provide professional, clear and efficient communication, Tiana has a kind personality and loves meeting new people.
Drawing on her experience, Tiana uses her creative flare and knowledge of the finance industry to assist managing events, marketing projects and future projects here at Financia to continue building on our existing award-winning company. She is also passionate about developing professional relationships and networks within the industry.
Outside of work, you’ll more than likely find Tiana down by the beach with friends and family!
Working alongside Mortgage and Finance Broker Ben Finis, Lucy operates as his Senior Personal Assistant. Known to go over and above the call of duty, Lucy is a hard-working individual passionate about the success of Ben’s team and Financia. With her kind-hearted nature and efficient work ethic, Lucy continues to provide an outstanding service to all Financia clients.
Beginning her finance career in 2019, Lucy developed a strong interest in our industry before moving to Financia in 2020. Most recently, we had the honor of congratulating Lucy for being a Finalist for Personal Assistant of the Year SA and for winning the Loan Administrator of the Year SA award in 2023. Since her commencement, Lucy has continued to build seamless processes enabling positive client results. Lucy has a desire to constantly learn and succeed both professionally and personally.
In her own time, Lucy enjoys spending time with family and friends outside of work.
Working alongside Mortgage and Finance Broker Ben Finis, Dona brings 12 years of finance industry experience. Having previously worked with one of the “Big 4” banks, Dona has a ‘customer-first’ approach and prides herself on her strong morals and work ethic. With a detail-driven approach, Dona is a dedicated Personal Assistant and plays a key role in providing support and advice to clients.
From working many different roles in the banking industry, Dona understands the importance of building long-lasting relationships with both clients and external networks. She is determined to further her growth and succeed as a key player within Ben’s team and the Financia Group.
Outside of work, Dona enjoys being active with her children and spending time with her family and friends.
Having worked in the finance industry since 2016, Adrian is one of our talented Mortgage & Finance Brokers. Adrian is an extremely driven person and strives to provide a one-on-one approach to support each individual client with their finance requirements. Not only does Adrian endeavour to achieve the best result for his clients, he also believes building lasting relationships is important for the financial success of the client, ready to assist into the future as well.
Adrian delivers a simple, easy-to-understand approach when dealing with his clientele. He removes the finance jargon and clearly explains all options and how the finance will work. Adrian’s affable personality sees him thrive in our team environment at Financia. He is open to every opportunity when it comes to making a difference in someone’s life and welcomes the chance to assist with your next home loan, investment loan or asset finance.
Off the work-field, Adrian loves playing soccer and working on classic cars. He is reputed as one of the best soccer stars at Financia despite that fact being heavily contested!!
Caitlin is a dedicated young professional joining the Financia team as a Personal Assistant to Mortgage and Finance Broker Adrian Matricciani.
After working in the hospitality industry honing her customer service skills, Caitlin comes to Financia determined to make a difference. With a keen eye for detail and a highly organised nature, Caitlin ensures that Adrian’s clients are well taken care of throughout the loan application process and beyond settlement. Her warm and guiding presence makes navigating the lending process a pleasant experience for clients.
Outside of work you will find Caitlin up the river or hanging out with family and friends.
Laura joined Financia as a new-to-industry Mortgage and Finance Broker with over 20 years’ experience in local government. Laura was previously involved in a diverse range of roles and responsibilities including operating as a senior executive, working in information technology, business intelligence, data analytics and business transformation. Laura’s extensive experience in management and client relations has provided a solid foundation to being a successful Broker in the finance industry.
With a passion to help clients find their dream home, purchase their next investment property, buy their next car and/or much more, Laura enjoys being the catalyst in assisting her clients achieve their goals. Her personable nature and commitment to provide a high-level service is evident through her work every day here at Financia. Laura will work with you to better understand your lifestyle and financial objectives providing a tailored loan solution.
During her personal time, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and two children more than likely at a sporting event. She is a social butterfly, often spending time with family and friends at events or taking any opportunity she can to grow both personally and professionally.
Tahlia is a career-oriented individual, consistently striving to deliver the highest level of service to every customer. Drawing from her previous experience, Tahlia has a comprehensive understanding of tailoring loans to meet the unique needs of clients.
As Personal Assistant to Laura Fischetti, Tahlia’s warm nature and strong family values combined with her proactive attitude to embracing new opportunities, complements Laura’s approach. Tahlia is committed to personal and professional growth, is dedicated, passionate and thrives in a team environment. Jovana is a well-respected Mortgage and Finance Broker with industry experience dating back to 2014. With her high level of lending expertise, Jovana brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. Her strong focus on trust, integrity and communication drives more clients to want to work with her. Jovana has built many long-standing relationships within the industry through her warm nature, trust, and efficiency; continually offering a premium service to all clients.
Before starting with Financia, Jovana previously worked with several of the “Big 4 Banks”, learning the intricacies of lending. Since becoming a Broker, Jovana thrives on working for the client, not for the bank. Having so many lender choices and the ability to secure more funding has had a blossoming impact on Jovana. Listening to each client’s goals and objectives inspires her to always provide a tailored home loan solution.
During her personal time, Jovana is a mum to two young children, spending her weekends and time off enjoying family life!
With an enthusiastic liking for finance, Tom couldn’t wait to start his career within the industry not long after leaving school. Coming from a family who works in the industry, Tom has been keen to create his own pathway in finance. Valuing every client relationship, Tom believes his role to help someone achieve their financial goals is extremely rewarding. His personable, caring nature is carried through his work every day. Whether you are looking to purchase your first home, invest in the property market, purchase your dream car, build a home or seeking personal finance, Tom will guide you in the right direction.
When he isn’t in the office, you will find him outdoors working with his team of jumping horses or socialising with family and friends.
Theo is an accomplished professional with a diverse background and a passion for delivering exceptional service to his clients. With over two years of invaluable experience as a Credit Assessor before becoming a Mortgage and Finance Broker, Theo has developed a profound understanding of the financial landscape and a keen ability to meet the unique needs of every customer he works with.
Equipped with degrees in Civil and Structural Engineering, as well as Finance, Theo possesses a strong analytical mindset, enabling him to approach challenges with a strategic perspective. Theo’s educational background not only highlights his proficiency in problem-solving but also demonstrates his commitment to continuous learning and intellectual growth.
Outside of work, Theo enjoys playing and watching a variety of sport as well as spending time with family and friends. Additionally, he finds enjoyment in studying economics and exploring the dynamic world of the stock market. Theo’s passion for perpetual learning and staying updated on market trends enables him to provide useful insights to his clients.
Anthony is a passionate Mortgage and Finance Broker with extensive experience across the corporate and finance sectors. Before transitioning to broking, Anthony held a pivotal role at the Arnott’s Group, managing a $500 million portfolio for a high-profile client. This experience honed his skills in client relations, strategic planning, and financial management.
Originally from Adelaide, Anthony broadened his professional career by spending five years in Sydney, where he gained valuable insights into the finance industry and developed a well-rounded perspective on market dynamics.
Anthony is renowned for his engaging personality and exceptional communication skills, enabling him to build strong connections with clients and guide them seamlessly through the finance process. Whether working with first-time home buyers or seasoned investors, he is deeply committed to delivering tailored solutions and achieving outstanding outcomes. By staying ahead of market trends and economic shifts, Anthony ensures his advice is always relevant and informed.
Outside of his professional life, Anthony’s passion for sports and community shines through. A former professional soccer player, he is an active participant in Adelaide’s National Premier League (NPL) as both a player and club captain for Adelaide Croatia Raiders. His leadership, teamwork, and strategic thinking on the field mirror his approach as a broker, where he leads clients toward achieving their financial goals.
Shauna has been working at the side of our Director Leon since 2010, operating until most recently as his Executive Assistant. After giving birth to a gorgeous little boy and after some time off, Shauna has returned to Financia managing our Accounts and performing HR duties.
Known as Financia’s ‘attention to detail specialist’, Shauna has been accoladed South Australia’s Number One Personal Assistant on 5 occasions, with a 4 year consecutive stretch a few years ago. These awards are testament to Shauna’s commitment towards our business, team and clients.
Playing an integral role in assisting with our growth, Shauna knows the ins and outs of Financia. Her new role allows her to manage her family life whilst still being involved in the business she is so passionate about.
Shauna splits her time with strong dedication to Financia and being a wonderful mother and wife spending time with family.
Natalie is our Client Relationship Manager and continues to assist the team daily to create a positive environment. Doubling as wife to the Director, Natalie packs more than Leon’s lunch! With a friendly and personable nature, Natalie has a strong focus on creating an all inclusive work environment here at Financia. Always going out of her way to assist staff members and clients, Natalie helps in many ways behind the scenes as well. Whether she is in the office helping the team or building relationships, Natalie’s highest priority is to always ensure the happiness and well-being of all.
As Natalie has been involved in finance and the business since day dot, it is not uncommon for Natalie to create an idea or concept that Leon steals as his own! Her lengthy experience in the industry and being involved in business decisions also brings a different approach and is constantly thinking of new, innovative initiatives.
In her spare time, Natalie enjoys socialising with family and friends or going for long walks.
